Recent interior photography

I’ve been photographing a lot more interior design recently for architects, builders and designers all around Brighton & Sussex. It’s really nice to go to peoples homes and capture them looking their best for companies and businesses.

I always get inspired when doing interior photography, although my main passion is shooting people because I find them interesting, I do like the calmness which comes with interior photography.

The Way We Work - Scientists

As part of my ongoing project to capture The Way We Work for Viva Brighton Magazine, I got to shoot a load of portraits of scientists at Susssex University in their labs.

They were a really interesting bunch of people and I seem to remember having some good discussions with them.

I've been photographing a few book authors / writers profile shots recently and I really like getting to know these interesting people during our time shooting. They all seem to be fascinating people with interesting stories to tell.

George Osbourne Visits Sussex Business

They say a week is a long time in politics and this week seems longer than most.

This time last week I was photographing the Chancellor George Osbourne on a visit to a Sussex engineering firm who I sometime shoot for as part of the EU Referendum Remain campaign. And a week later, we are living in a very different world. If I would have described to him last week all that would happen in the next seven days, I doubt he would have believed me. 

A week surely is a long time in politics.
