Portrait Salon 2015 Exhibition

I'm super excited to say that the portrait above of Tim Crouch, Brighton playwright, director and actor, which I took for Viva Brighton Magazine is going to be on show as part of the Portrait Salon 2015 exhibition.

The exhibition will show the true depth and variety of portraiture in photography today. It a great honour to be amongst so many brilliant works by so many other talented photographers.  

It is open from 6:30pm on Thursday the 19th of November in the Embassy Tea Gallery. 378 prints will be on display until the 22nd of November.

Autobiography Book Cover Photography

One of my goals is to do more photography for book covers. I've already done a couple, however seeing as I love portrait photography it's one area of my business which i'd love to expand. 

I really enjoy looking at the autobiography book covers in the book shops and seeing the great portraits which entice you to read the book. Thats what i'd love to be taking more of.

So if you're reading this and you can help, it's a big fat plea from me......Please help me do more.

Anyway, this lovely lady is Baroness Gould of the House of Lords. She's a Labour Party peer and has stood for some amazing causes over the years, mainly to do with discrimination. I spent a very memorable morning with Joyce, in her home chatting about this and that and learning so much from her.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the book when it comes out in January I think. This was my favourite image from the shoot, but I have no idea which one they will use.
